Catch Bull At Four, (1972) è il quarto album di Cat Stevens per l’Island Records. Pubblicato originariamente il 27 Settembre 1972, usciva sull’onda dello straordinario successo dei tre dischi precedenti, Mona Bone Jakon, Tea for the Tillerman e Teaser and the Firecat.
Con Paul Samwell-Smith alla produzione, Catch Bull At Four vede Cat Stevens accompagnato da Alun Davies (chitarra), Gerry Conway (batteria), Alan James (basso) e Jean Roussel (tastiere).
Catch Bull At Four rimase per tre settimane al #1 della Billboard Top 200 album chart diventando in quel momento l’album più venduto di Cat Stevens e raggiunse il top della classifica anche in Canada, il #2 in UK e Olanda e il #4 in Francia.
Per celebrare il 50° Anniversario del disco, Catch Bull At Four è stato rimasterizzato (24bit/96kHz) dai nastri originali e viene ristampato in VINILE 180g con copertina gatefold e in CD digisleeve LTD Edition con un nuovo booklet di 16 pagine che comprende foto, testi, articoli stampa del periodo e memorabilia.
